Made from Portuguese grape varieties Fernão Pires (70%) and Arinto (30%).
The best grapes from the “Vale” plot, located at 300 meters of altitude with clay-limestone soil, were hand-selected and harvested.
Received in an old stone press converted into a vat, they passed through a 1959 crusher and then went into a concrete tank for 24 hours, in contact with the skins.
This process gives structure, creaminess, and character to this “skin-contact” white wine.
After natural decantation, fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks for about 4 weeks at 16–18°C.
